#3, Benoît Duteurtre, Avenue Foch. In his novel L'Été 76 (2011) Duteurtre remembers his adolescence in Le Havre, when he discovered the beauty of the town reconstructed by architect Auguste Perret, the 'tours de la Porte d'Océane' at the end of Avenue Foch. Where previously he has seen banality, now he saw magnificence, and admired the bell tower of Saint-Joseph.
