Le Cimetière Sud de Saint-Mandé. There's not a great deal of readily available information on Ulysse Robert, although he was born in Fournet-Blancheroche in Doubs to Swiss father and a mother from Franche-Comté. He published a number of works, amongst which are Recueil de lois, décrets, ordonnances, arrêtes, circulaires, etc. concernant les bibliothèques publiques, communales, universitaires, scolaires et populaire (1883), Un pape belge. Histoire du pape Etienne X (1992) and Notice historique sur Sant-Mandé (1901), and an apparently anonymous (possibly self-written?) 45-page portrait of him was published in 1904, a year after his death.

Jules Moinaux in Bel-Air, 12e arrondissement

Le Cimetière Sud de Saint-Mandé. Jules Moinaux (1815–95) was the son of a wood-working father and the father of the famous playwright Georges Courteline. He was noted for his humorous plays and comic-operas, the latter of which were sometimes produced in collaboration with Jacques Offenbach. Alexandre Dumas fils wrote the Preface to his satire on the police, Le Bureau du commissaire (1886).
