This is on the boulevard Saint-Michel, right opposite the idyllic Luxembourg. The fascinating Séverine, née Caroline Remy (1855–1929) was well known for her left-wing, feminist views. I've made a few previous posts on Vallès (although unfortunately not on Séverine) and shall in the near future be adding links to them.
