One French blog describes Lucio Mad, aka Eric Madelin (1962–2005), as – among other things – a writer, a lover of Africa and African women, a lover of cannabis and rap, and the founder of L'Asile culturel ('Cultural Asylum') a 'Z series' theatre troupe that toured right bank theatres with its particular brand of insanity.
