WERE REMOVED ON

TO ST PAUL'S CATHEDRAL,
WHERE THEY FINALLY REPOSE.

THIS MONUMENT IS ERECTED
BY HIS AFFECTIONATE WIDOW
ELIZA CRUICKSHANK.'

Cruickshank illustrated Dickens's Oliver Twist. The granite bust of him, by William Behnes, has gone, although there is a marble copy in Dickens's Doughty Street museum house.
