Cimetière du Père-Lachaise (continued): #45: Tignous (Bernard Verlhac)

The grave of Tignous (1957–2015), the caricaturist and artist who was assassinated by terrorists at the Charlie Hebdo offices on 7 January 2015.  He began working for Charlie in 1992. The word tignous was his nickname given him by his grandmother, which comes from the Occitan word meaning 'petite teigne', or 'little pest'.
