Paul Cabot in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Côte-d'Or (21)

'PLACE DE LA RÉPUBLIQUE

Beffroi

Paul Cabet was a sculptor born in Nuits-Saints-Georges to a family of coopers, and became the student of his sculptor relative (uncle or stepfather?) François Rude.

And speaking of coopers, it is hardly possible to mention the town Nuits-Saint-Georges without also alluding to its famous wine: the press is from the 19th century.

Bicycles are also big here.
