Paris 2015: François-Vincent Raspail, Cimetière du Père-Lachaise #17

The tomb of François-Vincent Raspail (1794-1878), who was a chemist, doctor, politician, republican and writer. He is buried with his wife Henriette Troussot (1799-1853), who died during one of his imprisonments, and is represented as a ghost in a shroud here. The boulevard Raspail is named after him.
