I remember she said most people will only take you seriously if they know you to a certain extent and that most people who dont know you at all will not care about what you say on any topic. She was certainly a passionate woman of a sort. She really needed to find out for herself what the workers experience was like and she really wanted to connect with them on some level . She may have been quite headstrong . She is very much a mystery like Emily Dickinson of Amherst massachusetts . My last visit with her was in the 1960's and I was in my mid 20's when my other brother, Gerald Acheson McCloghry, and I stayed with her at her flat in the "Middle Temple" in London. At that time she knew so many people and I discovered she was one of the amazing Sufferjets. In our many conversations I asked her why she never got married and she stated "I would not give up my freedom for any man". I appreciate all who contributed to the memory of my Great Aunt Sinead.
Best to all, Tom. glinseco@gmail.com Thomas M. She is buried in the vaugirard cemetery in Paris. I don't know if this is the right place to ask but I would love to know who she was. I haven't seen her grave in person only a online photo and three seems to be no information about her, most likely because on the photo I saw of her grave it doesn't have a name or date. Perhaps overtime any writing has disappeared. Do you know of the grave I mean? I would love to know who she was instead of just being a face forgotten to time. There is also a court case mentioning her full name as " Sally Anne Freeman" and gives her age and address.
Despite being a relatively common name there are few records of anyone if that age in the UK deaths.
